Washington: During a meeting with top officials of oil and gas companies at the White House, Trump said that America will definitely take some action regarding Greenland. He even said that whether this decision is taken with the consent of the people there or without their consent, America will not back down.
Trump says that if America remains silent, then China or Russia will increase their presence in Greenland. According to him, he does not want these two countries to strengthen their hold so close to America. He cited this fear as the reason for his strictness.

Greenland is under the control of Denmark. On this, Trump said that the arrival of a ship there hundreds of years ago does not prove that the same country is the owner of that land. He also said that American ships have also been going there. However, he added that he had no personal grudge against Denmark.
According to Trump, Russian and Chinese naval activities are increasing around Greenland. Warships and submarines are being seen there. For this reason America considers it very important from a strategic point of view.
When asked why the work could not be done by keeping the army, Trump said that rented space is not protected as strongly as one's own land. He believes that countries use all their strength only for those things that they own.
In the same conversation, Trump also showed a tough stance on Iran. He said that if Iran's government uses violence against protesters, the US will respond. In his words, “If they start killing people, we will not keep quiet.”
People angry over inflation and unemployment in Iran have taken to the streets. There have been large demonstrations in many cities and dozens of deaths have been reported so far. Trump said that America is monitoring the situation.
Trump clearly says that America will not step back from its interests. Whether it is about Greenland or Iran, their stance is that America will take strict action if necessary.
